But if it doesn’t connect with the right audience, it’s just going to sit gathering dust.

One of my clients faced this exact challenge.

They had a sound tech product that seemed versatile, with 10 target customer segments listed on their website.

But here’s the thing: trying to cater to everyone means you resonate with no one.

It’s like trying to sell an ebook titled “The Best Exercise Tips”

It’s for everyone — teenagers, dads, moms, old peeps. But does anyone care? Nope. They’ll feel it’s like every other product in the market.

However, “The best exercise tips for busy moms postpartum” is where you will make bank.

So, anyway, coming back to my client..

My job was to help them make sense of their marketing, and the first step was nailing down their target audience.
